CRASH
pilot phase report to be published in Emergency Medical Journal
|
The Emergency Medicine Journal, a leading international journal of developments and advances in emergency medicine, has accepted for publication a paper about the 1,000 patients that were recruited in the pilot phase of the CRASH trial. The report is co-authored by all of the trial collaborators who participated in the pilot phase. Although the pilot phase results by treatment allocation had to remain confidential, the report showed the high quality of data collection and the excellent six-month follow-up that has been achieved in the CRASH trial. The two peer reviewers' comments were very positive. One in particular: "this report clearly demonstrates the feasibility of the MRC CRASH trial." Congratulations to all of you who took part in the pilot phase and keep up the good work on recruitment, data collection and follow-up. |
